I am in no way shape or form defending Romney, because I hate him with a passion. However, he is not saying that he just likes firing people. He is saying that if somebody is bad at their job, they should not be able to continue working there. If you are bad at your job, and your causing problems in the business, you should be fired. And I agree with that. again, PLEASE don't misconstrue my words and think that I am for Romney, because I'm not. I just don't like words being twisted

I still don't understand why someone with the highest of political aspirations would make such a comment. Just using the word "fire" makes this comment stand out. It's likely there wouldn't have been a second thought about this if he said "I like being able to choose the best provider for a given service" or something like that.
