@brandon9271 It was just corridors and few enemies because they wanted to make it a big scary horror game. It was more about atmosphere than running and gunning your way through the game. And despite the games repetition, it was pretty scary and had a pretty creepy atmosphere. I hope they continue the horror thing in Doom 4 but just fix the flaws that Doom 3 had. (repetition, no flashlight on the guns, etc).
But I heard they want 4 to be more action oriented than horror, which is disappointing.

Did the mod make the shotgun weaker!? The thing is already weak enough as it is by default.

How in the world, did you manage 1080p on a 4:3 screen?
the blood on the screen is stupid as hell. The rest looks pretty sick.

@slamkam07 Serious Sam and Pain Killer were more "Doomish" than Doom 3 was.. lol Not that Doom 3 was a bad game.. but it seemed more of a dynamic lighting/graphics tech demo than anything else. Doom 4 with Id tech 5 will be BAD ASS though! The original Doom was a corridor shooter BUT there were also large indoor and outdoor levels and waves of enemies. Doom 3 was pretty much just corridors and few enemies.
