The Little House on the Prairie future = 6 Billion, or there about, DEAD!

Monetizing energy is the problem. A technate would not do that... energy as well as transportation and housing would be free. No more Price System merry go round.
Lets drop the current throwback system in favor of something creative. Google Technocracy technate for viable alternative.

if we could get people to start investing in local grown food then the blow wont be that bad. but still its going to be pretty bad.

@Daltonn0810 It will be bad no matter what. There will also be resource wars between nations. Unless some miracle technological breakthrough occurs, the future is pretty bleak.

Well, whether we go back to little house on the prairie or we go forward to a technocracy, it's still a hell of a lot better than what we have today, that's for sure.

@FailBlob If we go back to little house on the prairie, that means we've failed as a society to evolve into functional governance and move backwards as a species. People are smart, this information is very basic, it just needs a good publicist to help get the word out. And I'm talking about The Technate design. I would caution to accept "anything" besides the current norm, just because its a form of Technocracy doesn't mean its good either.

This is why the Technate design is so important. Its a science based social design that uses energy accounting as a distribution mechanism. It is the most equitable way to distribute resources sustainably. Any other mechanism is either another price system, or completely foolish.
