A quick demo of some tunes using the TC Helicon Harmony-G XT pedal. Some tunes I've always liked but require harmony vocals, which the GXT now handles for me! Beta 58 into the Harmony-G XT run stereo to the board. Playing a 1997 Gibson All American II through a Digitech RP70 in stereo to the board. Amplified by 2 small Stageworks SSKFP206A powered speakers that have 6.5" woofers - which tend to distort!

  • does it work with a guitar using heavy distortion , or if you use an effects loop?

  • @ChrisG1216 -

It works best if the guitar is plugged into the G-XT first in the chain. You also have to make sure you play your thirds (minor or major) cleanly or the harmony above your voice may not track correctly. Just takes a little practice. Oh, distortion won't matter since it happens further down the chain than the G-XT.

  • Don't mind at all Joey! I just became a fan of TC Helicon on Facebook.
