  • @Yukanag, if you don't think the bible condoned slavery then you have never read it.

    watch?v=zu7_Eg7oHV0

    watch?v=ypwXw2CoEMI

Leviticus 25: 44-46 about how you can make non-Israelites slaves for life

Exodus 21:20-21: how to beat your slaves

Exodus 21:7-11: rules for selling your daughter

Ephesians 6:5: Paul informing slaves to obey their masters as they would Christ

Deuteronomy 15:17: how to make your fellow Israelites slaves for life

Judges 21:10-12: Capturing virgins for sex slaves

  • @ndyt The bible never condoned slavery.

In hebrew culture one man offered himself to a wealthier man as a slave to pay off his debts and was release after 7 years. When Europe enslaved the black population they did it for selfish deeds.

By saying absolute morality is bad than you are claiming an absolute moral and that is that no absolute morals are good.

Without absolute morals there can only be continued wars, because of disagreements, because one person or persons tries to play at God.

  • @Yukanag, absolute morality is bad. Too bad religion has warped your brain so much you can't see that. For example, lets say that something happened to 99% of the men on Earth. Still think monogamy would be the moral thing to do? Of course not. Morality must be flexible just as our system of laws must be flexible. But I guess you still think slavery is moral just like the bible says it is.

  • @ndyt If you think that mankind can say what is good and bad than all you will end up with is everyone having their own opinion and no absolutes on morality. How do you have a basis to define what is right from wrong?

BTW that video is ignorant an ignorant gasp and stab at something which the average American, and average christian American knows nothing about. We think sin is about following rules. Buts its about staying in relationship with God. Adam sinned by leaving that relationship.

  • @Yukanag, If you don't think you have EVERY right to say what is good or bad then Christianity has warped your brain.

  • @Yukanag When adam and eve sinned it was this. They said no. I will be the definer of evil, i will be Like God and define whats right and wrong. That is what the serpent tempted them with. You will be as God.

  • @ndyt What god was saying to Adam with the fruit isn't how you put it. He said do nat eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. To a jewish Scholar thats God saying this. "You have no right to define evil. That is left to me. I have given you all these other things (Fruits) to partake of, all the priveleges and responsibilities and dominion over the entire earth and you are in charge of everything and more powerful than all except for me. Because only i can say whats good or bad.

  • @ndyt How do you know that those babies are not in heaven with him right now and will not reign with him in the new earth that he will create?

he did not tell Adam that he would die that day, he said that you would surely die, and Adam did die. Hes dead right now. You Curse God for killing babies but do you have any idea how much it pains him to do that knowing that it is also for their own eternal good? It pains god so much that he Sent Christ he own son to die so it could stop.

  • @Yukanag, No, he didn't warn them of the punishment. He said they would die that DAY and they didn't. He didn't say anything about them being cast out. Also, they didn't know right from wrong until AFTER they ate the fruit! If they had half a brain they would have burned that tree the moment god told them not to eat from it. ALSO, all this doesn't change the fact that god killed all those babies in Noah's flood when he had the power to save them.

  • @ndyt No i just didn't explain it well enough. You call God a baby killer because of what happened in the old testament. Well that is true. Babies did die because of the sin of their parents. Here's a blatant example. If your mom smokes pot while pregnant with you, you will be born deformed. They were warned not to violate Gods laws and they ignored him. He warned them of the coming punishment but they didn't believe and as a result to their disobedience they died.

    Christ saved us from that.
