Ōkunoshima (大久野島) is a small island located in the Inland Sea of Japan. It is often called Usagi Shima, or Rabbit Island. The island was the sight of a chemical weapons plant until the end of World War 2, and some ruins of these buildings and older forts can be seen. After the war, the lab rabbits were set loose. There are no predators, and human visitors don't harm them, so they are not afraid of people. Some will even come up to you either hoping for a treat or just out of curiosity to get a better look at you.
