The Greenpeace activists unfortunately do not realise what the real problem is. IF YOU REALLY WANT TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT YOU NEED TO ADDRESS THE ROOT CAUSES OF THIS CORRUPTION! The economic system itself is the problem! Activism WITHIN the system is pointless!

I take a and b, and still I say Apple impressed me a bit with their phone, but it need at least 10 more years to stand next to tough competitors like Nokia and Motorola.

We really need more GREEN ways to communicate, and the ``i-phone´´ isn't the best ``Eco´´ selection now days to stay in touch with your family or friends... So when your going to buy something to talk with someone, make sure it at least doesn't contain dangerous chemicals. The toxic chemicals in phones, consoles and other stuff are literally some of the life threatening problems it might contain... Not only it creates health problems to people but also to the environment... Please take care!

totally agreed :) like sony-ericsson says: not a phone with builtin camera... a camera with builtin phone...

iPhone is: a miniature Macbook with a builtin phone...
btw... green... you all say what other companies removed from their phones... well... 3G is green it took uhm 1 year? and others? like Nokia? 15 years? c'mon what are we talking about???others should have more experience in phones... here comes Apple... a little baby in phone industry but still more advanced... and oh yeah:

nothing more but we are free and do not have a company like Apple in the background what give us the possibility to do what ever we would to do with our device and OS...we have an opensource OS that is not 400MB on disc and not uses that much of resources...
