Off topic comment:

Simon commented on Danyl Johnson's performance not on his cocky attitude. Simon saw talent and didn't criticize the man for having confidence. If this man wants to be a pop star, shouldn't he be a bit arrogant?

And how is Danyl to temper his confidence? Should he bat his eye lashes, give the audience a meek smile, wear a Charlie Brown t-shirt or maybe he should take a course on how to be phony and insincere instead of simply being himself.
