On September 29th, 2010, Senior Airman Mark Forester, beloved son, brother and friend was killed in Afghanistan while attempting to save a fallen comrade.

Mark was a member of the 21st Special Tactics Squadron, Pope AFB, NC.

  • the song is by corey smith its called "stand my ground" I think but if you type it in youtube it comes up as that... RIP Mark, your father and mine have been in business along time together through the mobile home industry and I'm from Missouri but it a shame I never had the chance to actually meet an American Hero more than just a phone call a few times...

  • My Dad and I met Airman Forester's unit, and have worked with them a couple of times. MSgt. "PN" spoke quite highly of him. Said he had an awesome sense of humor and was an upstanding Christian. Thank you for your service SrA Forester
