  • ni orang malaysia ni..cerita pasal borang jpa ha..ha.ha

  • thank you

  • con'd So if you found that these JV pulsation coincides with the carotids (call it systolic expansions) then it is due prominance of the v wave and hence the diagnosis is TR. (note: Carotid pulsations are medial to the muscles not lat to it)

    Yours

    Dr. Eissa

  • Con'd I want to remind you all that in case of doubt you simply try obstruct the flow by puuting your hand at the base of the patients neck, if the pulsations decrease then it is venous as carotid pulse needs much pressure to be diminished. Then it is important to time the JVP with carotid pulse on the other side. a wave is just before the carotid upstroke and the v wave is just after it.

  • Dear Collegues

This is prominent JV pulsation that is mostly V waves indicating Tricusped Regurgitation.

    to be continued

  • well , to me looks like aneurysm as well , confused with AR , can any1 clarify it

  • this is right carotid artery aneurysim

  • This is classical Aortic Regurge. It's NOT JVP. I have a video of a pistol-shot. I'll hopefully post it soon.

  • bifid pulse at the neck. aortic regurg. not sure why jvp would have a double impulse.

  • yes but is there double wave in the impulse shown = JVP
