Dying from any skin staph infection, including MRSA is rare. It usually affects the skin and does not enter the blood stream or affect other organs very often. 1/3 of the population have the bacteria on their skin, especially in the nostrils, so its just whether you get a wound in an area where you have the staph bacteria, the staph finds a way in. The best treatment I've found is a strong antibiotic and washing the wound with chlorhexidine many times a day to disinfect and dry it out

Thanks for writing...no GNC where I live but I make my own colloidal silver, have started using again for the past few days and waiting for results...I'm drinking rather a lot, about 3 6 to 8 ounce glasses a day, hoping for the best. Do you think the silver at a health food store will work better than my home made?
