we were tuned down to C or D and Rob insisted we play the song at the proper tuning. At least Ace could play it at open tuning: open hammer-ons and pull-offs. But me....no way. I had to transpose to some weird non-open tuning. so no wonder it sounds like Pussy Galore. By the way, I like this version and I like Pussy Galore.
