@AdamWirtz2001 a "cracked" rod is a good thing.
This design holds better due to increased resistance to rod bolt / stud failure. Think of it this way -> if you mold two pieces of glass separately then try to join them together, it'd be almost impossible to get a perfect fit, whereas if you break one solid piece of glass just right, the jagged ends that result will fit together quite nicely :)

technically, no.. you can't find a forged piston set for this engine. however, if you know what you're doing, you can have a custom set made for $700-800. I guess the bottom line is: with enough money, anything is possible :p

i was wondering i have a 2008 civic lx i wanna get a muffler its automatic still would it even sound good or wat and could i get an estimate on how much a transmission swap would be or would it be worth it cuz i wanna get a turbo or should i just stay auto and put the turbo on?

I fixed my car but now it is hanging at 3500 rpm how can i correct that?

your tune is bad. well, actually the tune might be okay. Butta you gotta clamp the MAF sensor so the ECU does not actually see the real MAF readings. If the MAF is not properly clamped, it will put the car into limp mode everytime you spool up.

What? You broke a rod? Are you sure? I have stock internals. I don't think any forged pistons exist for the engine.
