  • I'm going to paint my countach body with only acrylic paint and a brush.

  • @Dragonforce55kid , try using acrylic retarder mixed with your paint, about 1:8 ratio. This will cause the paint to dry slower, and help reduce brush marks. For more painting tips, check out our ebook now available on our website. Submit some photos to the site when you're done with the countach! Thanks.

  • Hi, you video was VERY helpful. Thank you.

i was wondering would it be ok if I'm using Krylon primer and testors spray enamel and testors wet look one coat lacquer?

  • @Dimwooo, thanks for the feedback, good to know that the info is helping.

If the Krylon is an enamel primer, using with the testors spray enamel should work. As always, test on scrap plastic.

Combining enamel with (acrylic) lacquer is much more iffy...lacquer over enamel will likely have disastrous results, please avoid!

  • @MrDeltasgremlin , you're welcome! And thanks for the feedback.

  • Brilliant job! The website is extremely helpful as well. Very detailed in every aspect of the build. Thank you very much!

  • @MrEskimoLover, on the Testors website, the Wet Look Clear is part of the same line as the Star-Spangled Blue. Just based on that alone, we would use them together. Let us know how it turns out! Better yet, submit a photo for the modelcartips website.

  • @ModelCarTips hi thank you very much
