In this video we are testing a Feigao 580 water jacket on a Castle Creations 1515 Motor. This is really the first in a test of how to fit a water jacket to the 1515 motor with aluminum cooling fins on it. I don't suggest doing this. I hope to have a water jacket that's made specifically for the Castle 1515 soon.

  • When we make a sleeve for a specific motor there is no leaking. We pressure test all test models prior to bring them on the market.

  • This is just a test. The water jacket in the video is for a larger 580 motor that we put on a smaller diameter Castle 1515 motor. That was because at that point we had no water jackets for the Castle 1515. Now we make specific jackets just for the Castle Creations 1515 and they work perfect.

  • The water jacket allows you to run water around the motor for cooling. There are no holes in the motor. So it is waterproof.

    Boat esc's are water cooled.

This video is old now. We make a castle 1515 jacket to fit this motor for a perfect fit.
