The recent announcements by GMAC/Ally and JPMorgan are just the tip of the iceberg. Look for more announcements soon as title insurance underwriters announce they're not taking the risk for sloppy foreclosures.
Wachovia ....told me not to make a payment to qualify for a restructure to my fla home...so I did as they told me for 8 months...diligently going in every month or twice a month..following up...and would you believe ...they kept my house and would not refi? yeah...so I don't feel sorry for the "banks" at all. Now they can have my house at 50% less than what I bought it fore...yeah I will bankrupt but I will be ok in 2 years. Good job Wachovia. NOT.
I agree with your analysis and it is very informed but it still bothers me when borrowers think they have a right to get out of their clear and intended obligations or think that it is justice to allow delinquent borrowers to stay in "their" homes at the minor cost of attorney's fees for years on end. I am not sure what the solution is.
Thank you for all you are doing for Florida Homeowners. Yes, it is a shame our court system, ie, judges, are not protecting Floridian's rights . Is there a way to oust the judges NOT upholding people's rights ?
Thank you for this. One of the important points we have to make when we litigate, is that when judges ignore the procedural errors, it undermines people's faith in the judicial system.
