Adrienne ~ 8.1.1987 Adrienne, Emergency Centre job

Steve is disturbed upon discovering Adrienne working at the Emergency Centre. He accuses her of continuing to follow him while Adrienne's denial of the accusations is equally strong. Steve demands Kayla be left out of any games Adrienne is playing and Adrienne insists she's not in Salem to cause trouble for anyone. Just the same, Steve suggests she pack up and return to wherever she came from. Adrienne watches on as Steve and Kayla begin to argue. Kayla questions Adrienne as to whether she knows Steve from the past. Later, Steve apologises to Kayla for pressing on about Adrienne but as Kayla says, it's not just about Adrienne. Steve's manner of holding his feelings back is an issue. Steve doesn't feel the need to change, meanwhile he continues to hurt Kayla by not expressing his true feelings. Kayla tries to reason with Steve and encourage him to open up to her. Steve can't see the value in talking out their problems, it's not how he's used to dealing with issues. There are things about him and his past he just doesn't want to delve into. Adrienne overhears the tail end of their conversation...
