Starting My 1999 Volkswagen New Beetle GLS

Quick video showing the insturment panel of my 1999 Volkswagen New Beetle GLS during engine start. Notice the low milage! Yes, the car is 11 years old, but it has been garage kept since 1999 and not driven very often. It still has the original tires on it! The check engine light is a side effect of an ETC sensor problem I had. The sensor has been replaced, but I'm hesitant to clear the OBD codes from the ECU as it may be going through an automatic reset process.
UPDATE:

The car is running wonderfully! In the last year since making this video, I've had to replace the ignition coil and have had problems with the turn signal relay, but the car is running very very well!

@bastion87 I honestly have never heard of a problem like that before (not just on a Beetle, but any car)!

I really don't know what to tell you, but as long as it's not causing other problems, maybe just consider it to be a little quirk the car has. :P

can anyone give me any tips on how to make the fans on my beetle turn on?? i cheked all da wirring and its all fine the fans only turn on when i use the a/c but thats it

@bastion87 volkswagen is notorious for electrical issues. just think of it as a special part of the car.

We have a 99 beetle nothing but problems one after the other.
