  • Jamiroquai is bollocks mate. The Dap Kings and Sharon make him look ridiculous. He's what i like to call "Fake Funk". All the good tunes he made in the early 90's sound really dated now. Im sorry, but thats just my opinion.

  • Still the best deep funk record to come out these last 10 years. Hands down. Actually, make that 20 years.

  • this is from a compilation album by rza and keb darge called "the kings of funk." there are some great tracks on it, and you can find it if you google it.

  • Love this song. What recording is this from? I'm trying to find it.

  • @kmp3000 As for myself, I adore some tracks the BAND Jamiroquai did on the first two albums, the very first being of a higher caliber funk-wise, to my ears of course. But as time passed by, Jay Kay proved himself to be of a very poor creatvity, the worst being making tunes without mentioning he just copy-pasted some older stuff. At least Lenny Kravitz did not, I believe :) Yep, FUNK is The dap kings, The soul investigators, The Menahan street band, The El Michels affair, The sound stylistics etc

  • Like Jamiroquai in the 90's, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings are the most underated contemporary soul group!
