Males have been wearing skirted garments for thousands of years. It's funny how now days it's okay for a man to wear a skirted garment only if it's a kilt, and if he is Irish or Scottish, but if he's not heaven forbid! Now days everyone is so quick to label a male in a skirt as gay. Did you know most gay guys don't like women and would never wear there clothing. We have been on this earth for so long and yet we have so many closed minded people! That's SAD!!!!

Consider Easter clothing up until Western influence entered into Japanese culture. Prior to Western influence, the traditional Japanese clothing was very long skirt like clothing.

Of the two boys in the picture, the one on the right is far closer to traditional Japanese clothing than the very Western boy on the left.

just wondering if someone was a guy and went to TYT wearing a dress for a job if they would hire them and if not would be considered inappropriate or sexist,and if it was then couldn't the same be said about woman wearing pants and not being hired for the same reason,i have asked this question before and never had an answer and do not expect one but ask it out of curiosity

As a Japanese American with a lot of Japanese family, I kinda see this as an attempt by the younger Japanese to find individual identity in a culture that has traditionally promoted a homogeneous identity. I think this would have more implications for sexuality if it were happening in America.

ok im not gonna lie if i met a dude like this at first id be like ok tht is weird kinda akward but thn after sum time id like o thats jonnie he likes to wear skirts no big and also come on one look at the guy in the first pic give him a staff and some pryrotechnics and he can so pull off pretending to be a mage or sum kinda sorcerer or some shit like that which i think is awesome
