@jonyashworld Since you were expecting a death match, then yes, nothing happened. I still think the behavior exhibited in the video is interesting, however. I'm sorry you were disappointed.

the wolf spider would win because even though black widows are poisonis, the black widow wouldn't stand a chance against the wolf spiders bite.

@bribribritany Yeah I guess they are both females, because a male probably wouldn't be aggressive with a female of any species.

Lol I know some people were "disappointed" with this video but I though it was cool, lol. I'm pretty easy to please. I agree, I think the wolf spider would have won this if anything happened. They're hunters, lol.

@jackfavvv The wolf spider is fast and powerful on the ground. The black widow is skilled in her web but clumsy on the ground. In this situation I believe the wolf spider would have had the advantage even though the widow was hanging from a portion of her web (because she was hanging so close to the ground). I think the wolf spider could have overcome the widow with surprise, speed and power. Of course she would need to avoid the venomous bite of the widow in carrying out the attack.
