  • @sfighter991 Ehh, who cares about him. I'm just hoping that one day they'll do a G.I. Joe movie that gets the story right, and doesn't cop the "Snake Eyes is too difficult because he can't talk" excuse.

  • @44excalibur I just saw a review on "ThatGuyWithTheGlasses" on the first G.I. Joe movie by SciFi Guy. Apparently he only knows the G.I. Joe Cartoon and not the Comic Books.

  • @SupremeCommander85 And as for G.I. Joe Renegades, I'll give them props for at least trying to come closer than anyone else has to the comics, especially where Snake Eyes and Scarlett are concerned(and certainly not as insulting as Resolute), but they still referenced the Sunbow cartoon too much. And Snake Eyes' storyline was still totally altered, although I'll give them a break, since it was The HUB and intended for little children. But that's the best Hasbro can do in 30 years?

  • @SupremeCommander85 Larry Hama for all intents and purposes did create G.I. Joe. Hasbro had no story for their new action figure line, they only created a bunch of plastic figurines. Hama adapted his 'Fury Force' storyline to G.I. Joe, as well as creating the names and filecards for all of the action figures. The Sunbow cartoon came a year later, and according to Marvel comics writer Jim Shooter, Sunbow "did not create or contribute anything." They just turned Hama's storyline inside out.
