Sea Snake Handler - Fraser Island

A Romanian friend who is a wildlife expert / snake handler, handles one of the most venomous creatures on the planet on Queensland's Fraser Island (Australia).

Sea Snakes can kill an adult in less than 10 minutes!!!!! and Just 1 drop of venom can kill approximately 3 adult male humans.

(Apologies for the swearing in the Video).

The snake was found washed up on the beach where it was dragged back into the ocean away from 4WD beach traffic after the video was taken.

NOTE: Even though sea snakes are not aggressive toward humans, the penalty for error is severe.

Gotta love people from other countries who really have no idea about our Australian Reptiles. "Hang on, I'll catch him. I'm a snake handler in my home town. Stand back everyone" Der!!!!!!

@Ravenger911 Although they are very placid and chilled animals and only strike when harrassed, its safe to look at it from a few metres but as long as you don't startle it you will be okay

@hotdoggy41 Sea snakes have very toxic venom glands that will block your nervous system which stops the signals getting to your brain which can lead to heart / brain failure since no signals are happening which will kill you. Don't ever screw with a Sea snake. :P
