BBC Two show 'Something For The Weekend' has a technical fault and the broadcast cuts out and we get the BBC Two techincal problem graphics with some music! The announcer keeps repeating himself until the programme is back on and they joke about what people missed. Also watch Billy Ocean want to say grace and they all ignore him! lol. Broadcast 29/3/09
this happened to my family when we were all watching something for the weekend and we were all like WTF

It is broadcast to the BBC through the BT Tower from the studio to the BBC to then be broadcast on the TV. When the BT Tower loses connection with the studio, what you saw is the default holding page which is supposed to be used for new setups.

@97channel i think it's when something goes wrong [like now] the BT Tower(?) sends their screen to the channel, or something...

What a weird holding card, or whatever it is, that BT have. Considering that it's advertising their services in a place where viewers should not actually be seeing it.
Does anyone know what studio that is? Because it looks like it might be the one where RI:SE used to be filmed.

I don't think it's how the BBC broadcast BBC Two, but how Something for the Weekend is transmitted live to the BBC for output, considering that isn't filmed at the BBC. If BT did broadcast BBC Two then they wouldn't of been able to override it with a breakdown screen.

I'm sure I remember this. That BT thing is a bit wierd... is that what they use to broadcast the channel?
