On Friday evening, February 5, 2010, just before 8 PM, the Malverne Fire Department responded to a house fire after FIRECOM received numerous calls of a fire at 130 Ambrose Avenue, corner of Peterhoff, in North Valley Stream.
. The Lynbrook Fire Department, under the command of Chief Kevin Bien, responded on a mutual aid along with other departments from Valley Stream, Lakeview, Elmont, Franklin Square, and Rockville Centre. Chief Bien, and Third Deputy Chief Anthony DeCarlo, responded to the scene with Vulcan Company which originally stood-by at Malverne headquarters before responding to the scene after Malverne broadcast a second alarm. Vulcan worked on the second floor after the fire was knocked down by Malverne firefighters and continued putting out pockets of fire in the destroyed second floor.
Why are they all just standing around at 1:45?
Are they using a garden hose at 3:00?
Then from 4:00 until at least 8:00 they just watch it burn?
At 6:45 did they say we have no water pressure?
Hmmmm an attorney might be interested in seeing this.
