That did NOT look beautiful lol. But eye of the beholder and all that blah blah

"Perception is reality" eliminates attentive understanding. Moreover, it inherently excludes perspective. Once perspective is introduced into any situation, it is no longer "reality."
If something is "real" (truly real) then it must be real for everyone. We all start with reality... when we throw our thoughts into the mix... it is no longer real. Because now it is different dependent upon how it is interpreted. And, interpretation is unique to an individual.

Yes we KNOW a lot of air brushing goes into these things & we KNOW that "even the women in the magazines don't look like the women in the magazines". But it doesn't change the fact that we all want to look like that, or that if they stopped air brushing the magz/ beauty products won't sell. And come on, that stuff about "inner beauty" & "eye of the beholder" -- it's become so trite, even when it's used ironically. What's the solution here?

@InternetLawman yeah, you wanted to be "his friend" not persue a dating type relationship.

@RacAdish I dunno about that. I had a really good friend in college that was unattractive. Just from speaking with him for less than 5 minutes I really wanted to be his friend. No homo, just that he had a great personality.

Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.
