  • Josephine is my Dad's first cousin. They hangout at the same golf club and she's the first & last one on the dance floor when there's a band playing.

I have a photo of her as a flower girl in my grandmother's wedding in 1920!

Definitely no one is laughing at her. She is such an amazing lady, you can't help but giggle around her, as her joy for music and life is infectious!

  • @DelphiGirl Yeah, no one was laughing at the music, it was the fact that not a single person, including John Pizzarelli himself, were ready for how amazing of a musician she was. I was sitting at the table next to her, and her personality was certainly something special.

I just hope I get to see her play again sometime.

  • Please search for "lady be good jazz piano" and you'll land on another fine performance by Mrs. Fusco at a school outreach!

  • Oh I agree!! Andy has played with Pizzarelli for a long time. I was surprised to learn he didn't know Josephine played!

She played at my wedding about 6 years ago & I sang with her (I am a prof singer). It was an honor! But back then, she was only 88! If I can dig up the video, I'll post it.

  • @rtortorici1 Okay, that's a good answer. I withdraw my swear-word.

  • @lightfunk Nobody is laughing at her. This is my grandmother, and my uncle (her son in the front) is trying to get her to wrap it up...if it was up to her she would play all night long. The band is joking about that and the crowd is reacting to that. Trust me , she brought down the house.

  • What the fuck are they laughing at?

  • Yeah, real funny.

  • Such nasty laughter coming from those idiots just sickening.

  • Awesome!!!
