Three hundred artists will present sacred traditions from seven lineages of world cultures. The opening procession will resound with the festive sounds of the brass Banda Juvenil Solaga from Oaxaca and the Pasadena Scottish Pipes and Drums ensemble. One hundred dancers led by Kealii Ceballos and Sissy Kaio will chant and dance on the sands in reverence of Kanaloa, the Hawaiian deity of the ocean. Swing Brazil welcomes their guests Viver Brasil, Capoeira Batuque, Seara de Caridade do Cabolo Tupinamba and the Elders of the Diaspora and will lead us in celebration of Yemanja, the Afro-Brazilian sea goddess. Drummers and dancers from Burkina Faso led by Olivier Tarpaga and DAFRA will pay homage to the Yuroba Orisha. Playing a central role is Cindi Alvitre and Tiat Society. The traditional canoe of the Tongva, will be paddled beyond the breakwaters, carrying the offerings to the sea and sacred blessings to the four corners of the Earth, guided by energy of the Agape Choir and the rhythms of Remo Drum Circle facilitated by Christine Stevens.

@AkhWu If you want to leave a message make sure you put it on the comments section so everyone from both sides can read it. Neva wanted you to private message me. The answer is plain and simple. You could have copied it from the Merina people of Madagascar. Those are the native people we can claim as you have no ancient connection to them whatsoever. Same Austranesian people covering more than half the globe compare to puny Africa. Those are the people I believe influenced your beliefs lolol.

"Lol dont prove me wrong prove the science of Niolithic Druid migration wrong. you may hold your belief at high remarks but the facts remain. Answer this why is 60% of your native tongue and words match indigenious tribes of my people. further explian why is the the dieties similiar. to map out a contrace of hueman movement and place of origin you need facts and culture. you do the math"

@AkhWu I think you're ignorant to the fact that the human body/mechanics is only limited to only that much movement. Swaying of the hips in Polynesia may seem similar to that of Africa, it doesnt mean the Polynesia culture came "from" Africa. So if you think because they seemd similar then it must have been from Africa, then you are mislead and ignorant. Bellydancing is not related to Yoruba as much as the Polynesia's Hula and Tahitian is not relatd to Yoruba. You can only claim Mapouka

Ubuntu, i know all to well what the difference is. it would seem to me that some dont see the driod connection of niolithic droid.
then answer this how come some of the polynesian words and dance gestures are very similiar to that of IFA to praise the Earth and Sky Godisis, indeed it maybe your own roots but the root words can be traced further back, do your research before commenting me Ubuntu

Very nice! But, need more "Ho'opa'a!" or "Chanters!" Level of volume for such a large group is too low. In other words...would you use a single 'ukulele and sing for a group this size? Or, would you use a single to'ere to drum a tahitian otea with a group this size? Get my point? That's the problem with Hawaiian dancing...not enough chanters to compensate for large groups. If this group was only 1-3 dancers...then it would make sense to have only a chanter or two.
