  • Outstanding, spectacular...Bach had the angels whispering into his ears and the Gods at his doorstep. I have been to many live performances, one of the best being Mozart;s Requiem at the Cathedral Notre Dame in Montreal. Yet this performance has to rate as one of the best I have ever experienced. A tip of the hat to the conductor and a tank you to the eternal Bach...

  • The smile of Maesro Blomstedt at 4:39 and his little dance with the glorious entrance of the trumpets got the best of me. I must confess, I lost it right there. His gracious personal touch added to his superb conducting skills and of course, the magnificence of the Great Father's music literally brings tears to my eyes and I can't explain why. It's a feeling of overwhelming joy.

  • Absolutely. I love this part. It's hard to sing, too.
