number 3, the Prophet reported that there will be 73 sects in Islam, 1 sect is right and will enter Jannah, the other 72 sects are Hell-bound. the Prophet also reported the 1 sect that will enter Jannah is "the Jama'at" (the group, also interpreted as the majority). the majority is the Sunnis
so i told you that you belonged to a group, whether you call yourself only a Muslim or not, but it is evident that Sunnis are the real Muslims, which include all the Sufis and the Auliaa Allah...

number 1, you belong to a group also, weather you call yourself a Muslim or not, there is no runnung away from the fact, and I will prove this later.
number 2, the Qur'an says do not split into groups. the group of Ahlus-Sunnat is the group that leads all the way back to the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam), but we call ourselves Sunnis so we can be distinguished from other groups. the groups the Qur'an talks about are the ones that split up from the main group (ie Sunnis)

The best way to understand the Quran is through Exegesis. go to either altafsir(dot)com or you can equally purchase a hard copy from amazon.
I would recommend that you get tafsir al jalalayn or to read online tafsir ibn Abbas as it was the earliest.
