Hollywood Swinging was released too late. WTF did it take over 8 months after the album was released for the songs to be charted on the radio. There were great songs recorded long before 1974 and 1975 that were not getting airplay charting until over 2 years after they were recorded and released on LP. That's Damn White B.S. preventing great music from getting fair chart ranking.

The album was released in the Fall of 1973 but both the album and songs should have had airplay on the radio immediately after they were recorded it in the Spring of 1973.

@711ATOM I think you meant "Wild and Peaceful". Three smashes on that album with "Funky Stuff", "Hollywood Swinging", and of course "Jungle Boogie".

"More Funky Stuff" is the second track on the 1973 "Wild and Free" album, the first track being naturally "Funky Stuff."
