This *was* our community tank. In it, we had the following fish:

# 2 flame gourami (Colisa lalia hybrids)
# 3 gold gourami (Trichogaster trichopterus hybrids)
# 1 blue paradise gourami
# 6 tiger barbs (Puntius tetrazona)
# 12-15 zebra danios (Brachydanio rerio)
# 1 red claw crayfish (Cherax quadricarinatus)

Laretta devoured everything in there and for over a year was the sole inhabitant of the tank. She died 7/12/2009. :(

I think I'm going to sell the setup. Now's a good time since there's nothing in it to rehome.

  • do you still need your tank? rofl

  • @magelaugh123 She had it all to herself for a while. Now I have a large black Moor goldfish that needs a big tank and plenty of filtration. No more crays, at least not in with other aquatic life! LOL

  • How could the crayfish eat all ur fish? its too slow

  • She might appear slow, but she could move very quickly. More than that, crays are masters of stealth. They'll sit very still and when a fish swims by...POW. As she got larger, she was able to catch more fish. The pleco fish died because of stress, not because she outright killed them. But it was her, all the same. Big mistake to put her in the tank...Wouldn't recommend it!

  • cray fish make good food .eat them

  • That they do! She was eating size, but we valued her for her interest, not as an entree. ;)
