Please, help this anonymous heroes and thousands of innocent cats to get what they were promised. They need facilities but they also need money. Ask the mayor of Vigo to re-examinate his priorities. Who deserves financial aid and a shelter more than Proyecto Gato?

In the meantime, Proyecto Gato keeps on working in the worst conditions. There is no space, no means and no money. The lives of the cats and humans who selflessly take care of them is constantly put in danger due to the lack of hygienic conditions. The situation of their facilities has grown worse and only love and devotion keeps them alive... but for how long?

The results speak for themselves: more than 1700 cats have been treated, 1500 have been spayed or neutered, 600 of them have been successfully adopted and 300 are still recovering or waiting for a home. Nevertheless, after four years of hard, intense and successful work, the Asociacion Proyecto Gato is in serious danger. Two years ago they were promised a cat shelter by the Concejalia de Medio Ambiente but that shelter has not even been built yet.
