And there's the problem with short wave CB, when you want to talk to your chums just down the road, you can't, cos of overseas interference jamming you out. UHF CB, like we had with 934MHz and Oz/NZ have on 477MHz, that's what we want in Europe, no skip ever.....

Ah the old Midland 100M, i had the 80 channel version when i was 15, my first ever rig and loved it to bits. I saw one on ebay three years ago and paid the princly sum of £15. Now a 43 year old lad i still get all starie eyed looking at the old gal.
