I made out with Steve Malkmus' aunt at a Pavement show.

I saw Pavement at The Abyss just before it closed. The Abyss was a rough place, and Pavement roughed it up back. Choke holds on attempted stage divers and a few boots to the face from the bass player. I think they loved reliving their early days on their second to last tour.

The Abyss building still stands.
