Ringing the Bell:

We started out as two beings,
Who werent looking for love
And gave in to our feelings.
Everything was easy, everything felt fine until we both got tested The test of our lifes.

Dont tell me you love me
Dont tell me you care
As opposed to me, you were never there
Dont ring the bell, once your time is up
I wont come running, I just had enough.

Everything went downhill, very fast
but I kept my strength for this final blast.
It took my years to reach this point, maybe final destination
I was blind because I didnt trust my head but my imagination.

Dont tell me you love me
Dont tell me you care
As opposed to my feelings I dont know who you are but I know who you were
Dont ring the bell, once your time is up
I wont come running, I just had enough

You were my shooting star
But this went on way too far
I cared way too much, when we were out of touch
Through good times and bad times, I havent given up
But this has to stop now, because Im stuck and your time is almost up.

As opposed to my heart, I dont know what we are, but I know who we were.
Dont ring the bell, once your time is up
I wont come running, I just had enough


Ive been patient like an oak tree with a bumble bee
Sworn an oath to secrecy,
spent three nights as a vagabond,
you see!

Dont tell me you care
As opposed to me, youve had your fair share of affairs.
Dont ring the bell, once your time is up
I wont come running, I just had enough

Ive waited for rain washing you out of my hair
So I could get rid of my dreamy stare.
Instead you are floating around in my head
As well as all the things you said.

As opposed to a perfect relationship
Ours has been a one way trip.
Dont ring the bell, once your time is up
I wont come running, I just had enough

Before I say something I might regret
Im keep my mouth shut instead.

As opposed to you, I will always be there
Just ring the bell and Ill always come running
No matter, if Im busy
No matter, if Im out of time
No matter, if it appears that I am through with you
Im not afraid to say that I still love you!
