@Alesandros356 It is a shame that Wong Shun Leung has now died. Wong Shun Leung, the man respected throughout the world for his abilities. The man that taught Bruce Lee. The man that taught for a time in Yip Man's school at the request of Yip Man.The man who was one of Yip Man's top 5 students. The man who proved himself fighting in the "real" world with rooftop fights.
You could have told him how he was doing it all wrong!

@gringolazlo The reason why there is only one basic pole form is because of Wing Chun's core philosophy of economy of motion, and maximum efficiency must be attained in all forms of wing chun. You must not be very advanced, or else you would understand this, but no matter. Watch the cotton mill fight scene in Ip Man 2 and you will understand that this form is all you need for the use of such a cumbersome, yet effective weapon.

@clivepot01 i got a good teacher:P

i like the pole form but he did it wrong.....his attacks was wrong(when he was "rushed" forward with the pole) and when he did the pat (hitting down with the pole)
-
@gringolazlo as far as i know WC contains 2 pole forms...did 1 yesterday;P it is easy enouth but contains alot of stuff you need to remember just like the normal WC besides it bostes your WC skills because it is so damn hard

@clivepot : i really appreciate how you responded to the commentator grinolazlo. you eren't violent or beligerent in any way. You did a wonderful job in expressing the point and, in doing so in such a calm and rational fashion, demonstrated the mannerisms of a true Ving Tsun practioner. -God Bless-

check the (shaolin) weng chun longpole too!!

every move has an aim ! it's like sil lim tau or biu gee or chum kiu , no useless moves ! shortest moves , with maximum efficacity , created for adapting the neuro-muscular structure of your body to wing chun practice .

thank you master.
is this the full wing chun pole form? is there only one pole form in WC? well its seems very bland and simple, i do WC but would find this very boring. This form doesnt encompass much body movement or tecniques at all.

You say it is simple. You are correct. Ving Tsun is simple, direct and efficient. This is all the form and there is only one form. You have to understand the subtleties to appriciate the form. WSL as you know was a fmous Ving Tsun teacher and had proved himself in many fights in his past. He was well respectd by Bruce Lee who had also benefitted from much of WSL's teachings.
