Heaven or hell... Guess which one you're going to?

The Atheist Experience #696, 2/13/2011. Mark from Austin finally gets through to tell Matt and Jeff that their TV show is stirring up controversy in his church. He goes on to tell them he believes heaven and hell are real places, and that they are going to hell for their blasphemy and apostasy. Needless to say, Jeff and Matt don't agree with his viewpoints and begin to point out the numerous flaws in Mark's theological opinions. They ask him to cite reasons for his beliefs and he ends up backpedaling and skirting around any legitimate answers, and does a very poor job of "defending the faith" as he puts it.

Oh And God Wrote a BOOK for you people to follow,. and says. if you dont believe you will burn for ever.. i Always tell creationist that i never see the devil with all these rules. the devil never said he was going to burn us. thats just what your God says. for all you know the devil could be the good guy and your god he seems evil judging by that book he wrote(the bible)!!!

if you cant see that the bible and religion was made up to divide and conquer then theres no hope lol. i feel sorry for the people worshiping this(nothing). i hate that they're quick to call Us Atheist crazy but they talk to themselves everynight(prayer) and when they wake up lol it fucking sucks to see how closed minded and dumbfound creationist can be . one of these videos brought a tear to my eye hearing the things creationist say... its soo saad =/

@olantern A great point? Who would send their own son to suffer? I sure wouldn't, if I was all-powerful I'd forgive unconditionally. Also, you are assuming that belief is subject to free will. Which it isn't. I can't believe until I see, at which point, it isn't belief, but knowledge. I'd love for there to be a caring God, I just have no use for one, nor proof of one.

@darkdexou the reason you do not have that sense is cause you do not try. give up your non belief and ask God for guidance. it is not hard to find God. He is waiting for you to accept Him. despite what atheists say about his punishments etc. He loves us so much! who else would send their own son to suffer and die for us? us who did not believe and were horrible sinners. search your soul please and yes you do have one. :)
