@WpgRagReview The CWB had put a plebicite that was not much short of a joke. Where they sent it to people who were retired or even deceased. They knew that the older farmers would vote their favor. If this would have been done correctly and given to just ACTUAL farmers it would have been way in favor for ending the monopoly. Thank god they just ended it.
@robbb661 Funny - given that Conservatives so obviously must speak for Prairie farmers when it comes to the Wheat Board - that Harper was afraid to allowing farmers to DIRECTLY vote on dismantling the board. I wonder why that might be ...
