This video shows creating a type of fireball particle system using DPSF (Dynamic Particle System Framework) for XNA. It starts with only emitting one or so particles per second, and then cranks up the emitter to create 90 particles per second. The same texture (i.e. image) is used for all particles, but it is randomly rotated, and set to fade out as the particle ages. The emitter is controlled using the mouse. DPSF is available at http://www.xnaparticles.com
