When will you post a Bugera 1960-INFINIUM review? i am thinking of buying one but i can't if i don't hear it before :|
-
@LeaveMeTheFkAlone It's a post-phase inverter master volume. It's not quite like an attenuator, but it does allow you to get a lot more crunch at lower volumes. It can definitely handle old-school metal with a boost up front. :)

@jordan1234564 the 1960-INFINIUM has been shipping. I'm not exactly sure when it will arrive at a certain retailer. Many retailers are expecting them by the end of either this month or March.

Dang I was really hoping for the 1960 I to come out Friday. But it didn't. :/. Do you know when it will ship out?

@bugera can you get good metal tones?
tomdon1033 5 hours ago
@tomdon1033 It will depend on what kind of metal... for more modern downtuned chugga-chugga metal, the 333XL or 6262 may be better choices, but the 1960 is great for that heavy 70's Zep/Sabbath sound all the way to early 80's metal (with an overdrive in front).

the retailer here in Canada said this amp is not available here due to lack of csa approval. any info on that ?

@d33ferer I'll have to look into that. I know that it's shown up at quite a few retailers in the US...

can I change EL34B to standard EL34?
donnied1984 1 week ago
@donnied1984 Absolutely! It will be plug and play on the newer 1960-INFINIUM. The older 1960 model will require a bias adjustment, though.
