both east and west Bengal make a single country named BANGLADESH. But west Bengal was separated from east by India, although India's language is not bangla, I am not sure whether Bengali people ever felt like they are the second class citizn in India, it would have been really good, if east and west Bengal were together making a strong and greater Bangladesh, and safe from all the troubles of India and Pakistan. Both Bangla rocks though! In cricket Ganguly was a big bengal star, now Tamim Iqbal!
