Eurovision 2012 Turkey - Presentation of Can Bonomo on TRT News
During the main news bulletin on TV channel, TRT-1 in Turkey, it was tonight announced that Can Bonomo will represent Turkey at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Baku in May.
Can Bonomo who started to play the guitar at the tender age of 8 has a lot of irons in the fire, being a professional musician, TV presenter, radio producer and writer. He has worked with some of the biggest companies in the industry including MTV and has appeared in many TV adverts in Turkey.
This combination of skills will surely come in handy with in May he will represent Turkey at the 2012 edition of Europe's favourite TV show in Baku, Azerbaijan.
In 2011 Yüksek Sadakat failed to qualify past the Semi-Final stage, something broadcaster TRT want to rectify this year by sending Can Bonomo to Baku.

The 2012 Eurovision Song Contest takes part on the 22nd, 24th and 26th of May in Azerbaijan's capital.

@elia740 first of all im not a muslim, neither does turkey its secular.and choosing can bonomo is not about his beliefs. we choosed him because he is talented and a great person. israel act out racist to turkish government and our people, idf soldiers killed 9 of our citizens and never apologized? this is not a peace offer, we just choosed a jewish brother of ours to represent us not an israeli person. being a "jewish" and "israeli" are two different things.
