I just realized that the commentator mentioned Elena's accident being in 1966 instead of 96! She looks good for her age! I've watched this a zillion times, I can't believe I never caught that. :)

It WAS just amazing. No question@ it.

The lean, the edges,the stretch they BOTH exhibited in every single move. Elena holding that landing-beautifully- on the throw triple loop for what seemed a lifetime.

Perfect side-by-side triple toes... Everything was perfect@this program. And a very attractive couple.

There's has not been a pair before or since who're more lovely and elegant than Y & A. This is a pair that I can watch all day doing the same program and would never tire of doing so! Yelena with her beautiful and delicate fragility and Anton with a protective though elegant type of strength. Loved them sooo much!

Olympics have never been the same since the 2002 winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, for women, men, and pairs figure skating. This was the best year ever for Olympics.

They are so beautiful, incredible and skated so passionate...I wanna cry when Elena run to hug anton in the performance, also he hugged Elena in his strong arms... I love her smile and anton.. so much!

Best pairs short program ever. Hands down. Such a beautiful pair. Had they skated towards the end of the night, I'm sure they'd posted 5.9's 6.0's for presentation. Amazing.
