My second time ever running at the drag strip. I'd like to see low 15's possibly even 15 flat with my current mods. Overall pretty happy with my results considering my nobbishness at drag racing.

  • 15.5 in a prelude is not too good

  • @dakill2

agree, but it depends on a lot of things too. I went back this last year after finding that most of my exhaust was clogged! and ran a 14.7!

  • Nice run man I have the same h22a jdm not type s motor too and seeing you run 15.5x makes me a bit sad since my friends si is 15.1. I have I/h/e myself so hopefully get some good results. And nice racing with a 13 sec car there lol

  • @AspectT1

Yeah the 13 sec car was my buddy's 99 FRC Vette...LOL...Lil' Prelude vs Vette = FAIL! But it was fun none-the-less.

  • Depending on your elevation u can get your stock 5th gen lude to squeek into the 14's. Getting a perfect launch in the lude is a bit tricky.

  • your launch was great. 2.2 60 foots are good for 14s easy. the headwind held you back a ton believe me. without wind you could have shaved off possibly 3 tenths or more.

i run 15.1s all day, and a 20 mph headwind put me in 15.5/6s

  • Nice run!! I did approximatly the same time with my 99 black lude, lds tranny, AEM cold air intake, 2 1/4 Header, , Hi-flow cat and magnaflow muffler (15.386)
