We're here to force changes towards sustainable tuna fishing. We want Kiribati to stop allowing these fleets into their waters and for Spain to de-commission these vessels. Saving tuna from one fishing net doesn't help us achieve that.

Exposing this activity is very important since not many people know about these super super seiners. Sometimes being more radical works against the campaign. It depends on who we are targeting.

There is something to be said for Environmentalism, no doubt, it's these GP people go about it the wrong way. Governments need to step up to stop overfishing, b/c we are running out of fish(ex: Cod). I love fish, love fishing, and don't wanna tell my kids the same sob stories of the good ol' days of fishing where there were loads of fish like my dad, grandad, etc tell me. Look at what happened when they banned fishing for Striped Bass on the E. Coast of the U.S. The fish came back, good as ever.

This is the reason I've gotten in the habit of supporting small footprint poultry farming for our families protein needs.

The priceless risk of this weakly regulated industrialization of the planets entire food chain is losing those species that depended on what we have greedily destroyed.
