What kind of tools do you use, to cut it, or do you melt it?
Is it sterling?
I wear native jewelry. I don't know much at all about the process of it's creation.

i use a hand pushed square point engraver to cut the lines and bright cut most of the design, then use onglettes to scoop out the recessed parts. theres also soldiering and cutting when needed. i was trained by a master jeweler so i follow those techniques. the first native jewelery on the northwest coast was pretty much carved out of silver/copper not really engraved, some still work that way
