A famous letter from Virgina O'Hanlon to the editorial of The New York Sun, first printed in 1897.

We take pleasure in answering thus prominently the communication below, expressing at the same time our great gratification that its faithful author is numbered among the friends of The Sun:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

  • Celebrating is the real way for christmas it's a time to get togather that;'s the way it should be not what the christians did.

  • The christians stole the holiday from the pagans and I'm an atheist I celebrate christmas only for celebrating like the pagans do not for the jesus and god or christian shit that stuff is stupid no offense to people but it's a lie so why believe it still the christians are wrong.

  • This is the worst video I've ever seen, your pathetic ranting on appreciating gifts is like something written by a first grader, even your spelling is wrong. Not to mention that xmas is just a pagan holiday that anyone who loves God should have nothing to do with.

  • I agrea with 5504berry look it up. Yule predates Christ's mass and the tree, fire, and feast are pagen hate to piss in your stoking but it is true.

  • i had to watch this at my school i thought it was a waste of time

  • You should really do some research before posting nonsense. Christmas is actually a Pagan holiday and has nothing to do with GOD. Interesting how the world is so blind to real facts. I guess that is what makes us human.
