IGN Editors Scott Lowe and Justin Rubio were lucky enough to get their hands on the new Nintendo console, the Wii U, at CES 2012. After playing two tech demos which utilized the Wii U's innovative controls and tech, "Chase Mii" and "Battle Mii," the two walked away thoroughly impressed with the potentially industry changing device. Though this is the first time we've gotten to see the Wii U since E3 2011, Nintendo was unfortunately still tight lipped about the potential price and release date. Still, keep an eye out for the Wii U somewhere between June and December 2012.

  • nintendo should keep ChaseMii and BattleMii as built-in software

  • don't kick me or nothin but i actually have more games i like on the wii than the 360. mario galaxy 1 and 2, trauma team, 4 really good railgun shooters (house of the dead: overkill being my favorite), the rehash of 'boy and his blob', xenoblade chronicles, super paper mario, donkey kong country....

i'm lookin forward to wii u but honestly i'm probably gonna just stay with the original for a few more years. oh and point-n-click adventures work phenomenal on the wii as well.

    also, BOOBS4LIFE!!

  • @iamextremelyawesome 360 suck compared to Wii, and PS3! so I don't blame you!

  • It's only gonna be really really awesome if it also gets the big triple A multiplatform titles on top of the great nintendo games

  • @brunompbruno they could use it for nintendo wifi connection

  • BETWEEN JUNE AND DECEMBER!!! NO FAIR. E3 said it was EARLY 2012. IT'S TOO EARLY

  • @TonyKanameKuran how do you know that, they arent even making a ps4, because sony said that the ps3 still has life in it, and arn't making a new console any time soon. when microsoft was asked, they didnt say anything

  • @autotitslinger

You will get used to it

You know the new YouTube layout? I hated it at first, but I liked it eventually.

  • @autotitslinger oh so tablets look retarded? by the way everone i hear who has actually held the controller said it's confortable and very light

  • Im sorry but that controller looks RETARDED, just doesen't look practical for gaming, it seems it look likes something I would never use because of its comber some feel.

  • @coolal124 it's not that good im sure the wii U and ps4 will have better GPU's I herd the GPU is kind of strong lets say your going to play crysis 1 it would do ultra setting's that's pretty good but it's not much more powerful but don't take my word because im not very smart but im hearing this from smart people btw when the ps4 and wii U get to full potential that's not going to be very powerful cause your going to be seeing way better thing's from the other consoles
