@m134e5 No, it have to slow, Monteverdi talks about the slowly and wonderfull daylight, when the first light is totally slowly. The slowlier it is, the more expresive it is. I sang this song 2 years ago, We tried faster, but it was 0 emotion, 0 feeling. When it comes slowlier, you feel like if the wind were blowing your face, and the sun coming just to your life.. :)

This is too slow- it should be twice as fast as this group is taking it. There are also some serious blending problems. Intonation and tone quality of individual singers is lacking at times as well.

My choir is taking it faster, but this isn't bad. There are a few problems with blending, but it gets better as the piece goes on. It's really interesting to listen to all the different recordings of this song because they are all unique in some way. I will say that the guys in this group are amazing, especially the bass.
